Difference Between Milkshake And Smoothie
It’s all in the name! Milkshakes are typically made of milk and it is dairy-based. It has a milky and creamy texture.
In a lot of cases, milkshakes are made with ice-cream, however, we’re switching things up here in order to keep things vegan and dairy-free.
On the other hand, smoothies aren’t always made with milk, and it isn’t quite as creamy as milkshakes. Smoothies are often made with fruit, juice, ice, and sometimes milk, but can be made with just plain ol’ water.

Secret To Making Creamy Vegan Milkshakes Without Ice-Cream
Frozen bananas are a must-have in this recipe. This will help bring a nice creamy texture. Additionally, it yields a cold milkshake without the addition of ice cubes.
Speaking of ice cubes, we’re not using any of them here because it hinders the creamy texture of the smoothie and it waters it down.
If you have the frozen bananas, you won’t need the ice.
