First, what is Veganuary?
Veganuary is a month-long initiative created by a UK-based nonprofit that invites people to try eating entirely plant-based throughout January. The goal is to introduce newcomers to vegan living through guidance, education, and daily encouragement.
Here, we’re just supplying some of our best plant-based recipes that are fan-favorites. You can also check the Veganuary website for more information about the challenge. There’s plenty of guides and resources to get you started.
But, if you just want recipes - we got you!

Frequently Asked Questions About Starting a Plant-Based Diet
Plant-based can make it harder to get enough protein, vitamin B12, iron, calcium and omega-3s without careful planning. It can also be time consuming, but with meal prep, you can save time.
A typical day might include oatmeal with fruit for breakfast, a quinoa and veggie salad for lunch, a lentil and vegetable stew for dinner, and snacks like nuts, seeds, or fresh fruit.
Beginners can start by gradually swapping animal products for plant-based alternatives, focusing on whole foods like fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, and nuts, and experimenting with simple, tasty recipes to make the transition easier.
Using a pressure cooker can simplify meal prep by cooking beans, grains, and vegetables quickly while keeping flavors and nutrients intact.
